Grown-up.

I am feeling particularly adult today. Maybe its because I am almost finished with my second year of college. Maybe its because I am now twenty and the feeling comes with the territory. Maybe its because everyone I know is married or pregnant, and just the association make me feel old. Maybe its because I'm not going home for the summer. Maybe its because I have a real job now, not one handed out to me by someone I know-not that I don't appreciate that mom and dad- but I got this job on nothing but my own merits and skills, in my own field, and that feels really good. So today is just a mature kind of day.

Here is a funny picture that kept very entertained the other day to counterbalance all the serious grownup stuff:

Hello Again. It's Been a While.

You know its been a long time since your last blog post when your browser history doesn't even remember your domain name.

So, long time no see blog-world. Its great to be back. My summer's hiatus was due to the fact that I did hardly anything worth mentioning.

But now that I'm back at BYU, that will all change.

Since it been so long since my last post, I thought I would reintroduce myself.

Hi I'm Caroline. I'm a 19-year-old communications major at BYU. I love to read and cook and spend time with friends and family. My favorite color is green. I love pretty things and Harry Potter. John Mayer, James Taylor and Norah Jones are the background music to my life. I love fall and the holidays, but who doesn't? I'm so excited to be a sophomore.

Now that we are reacquainted, I can't wait to get back to documenting my life and my thoughts. Have a happy Friday everybody.

Sorry. Couldn't resist.  :)

Ultra Rando.

So I'm in the library and I'm all done with my work but SOMEBODY  wants to stay till it closes at midnight so he can hear them play U2 to wake everybody up to leave. So now I will blog to pass the time, even though I don't have anything to say. Bear with me.

You know you have been in the library too long when Kass starts yelling at the vacuum people. We become terrors late at night.

To pass the time, we are listening to Disney pandora and eating Hi-chews. We have been on quite the Disney kick as of late.

Still 20 minutes till the music starts. Very bored.

So last week, we found this new awesome app game called Draw Some. Its like if Pictionary and Words With Friends had a baby. But now mine is broken for some reason and won't let me play so get to hear about all the crazy pictures people draw for eachother. I have serious Draw Something FOMO.

Here is an awesome picture of a Grandpa from when my game worked. Side-note:  I know the letters don't spell Grandpa. Long story.

Today was Pi day. It kind of made me miss high school math. Trust me, know one is more surprised than me to hear me say those words. But they were pie-ing professors up the wazoo outside the Wilk and someone recited 900 digets of pi. That's what I experienced as I ate lunch on the grass with my friends. Pi day, BYU style.

Wow, this is for sure the most scatterbrained thing I have ever written so hope everyone can follow. Have a good evening!

Update:  no U2 was even played. Eat your heart out Maeser.

Better Late Then Pregnant!

So it's been a while. And a lot has happened. So this post might be a little bit on the spastic side... brace yourselves. I have come back to BYU for my second semester. GO COUGS!

My family came skiing right after I came back to school and that was a lot of fun, even though there was no snow.

The Allison. A classic.

Then it was time to sign contracts for apartments next year. AHH!! Scary right?? And somebody (Kass) thought it would be a good idea to camp out! Worst idea ever. Nobody slept because we had six girls ins a four-man tent and it was January so it was naturally freezing. I woke up--and I use that term lightly since we didn't really sleep--with frozen hair from the side of the tent. But the good news is we got our apartment! Mansion 22 baby!!

Tarleigh is legit with her head-lamp.

Don't we look so excited to camp??

Then we had a super awesome ward activity at this tubing place in Heber. It was a blast... until it started snowing when had to drive home through the canyon. I was safe in Kass's little blue bug, but we did have a couple kids spin out and crash into eachother. But still a super fun activity.

These big events are a blast, but what makes college fun on a day to day basis are the little things. I now it sounds sappy but its true. We are just silly.

Gotta love Jordan's BYU Christmas stocking shoes!

I'm a Who from Whoville!

And about the title? I was going to write better late then never but this popped into my had from this funny thing I read on Facebook. Its little kids finishing popular sayings. Enjoy.
